Everyone wants to make a good first impression—think of your Launch Pad application as your chance to leave us wanting more. The application should only take a few minutes to complete and should provide a good overview of your idea.
The first sections of the Launch Pad application are basic questions you could answer with your eyes closed: name, business name, address, contact information, you know, the easy stuff.
From there, the questions are designed to give us a top-level view of your business—what you want to do, your potential customer base, projected annual revenue—all which helps us customize a formation strategy that best meets your business’ specific needs.
Here are a few tips for completing the more detailed sections of the application:
Business concept: This one is pretty easy; just tell us concisely what your business idea is. Your answer doesn’t have to be long, but should provide a comprehensive understanding of your product or service. Understanding your business concept will help us pair you with the right member of our Launch Pad team.
Anticipated yearly revenue: Be realistic. What do you reasonably expect to take in the first year?
Target market: Tell us briefly about your target customers. What people or businesses are most likely to buy your product or service?
Summary of your business plan: Here’s where you can get more specific. Give us some details on what you plan to do, how you plan to do it and how you will succeed.
In addition to your application responses, Launch Pad applicants are subject to specific terms and conditions. Questions about your business plan and previous contact with Preti Flaherty all factor into those terms.
After you’ve submitted your application, you can expect to hear from one of our Launch Pad attorneys within a couple of days, and we usually get candidates in for an in-person meeting within the span of a week.
If you’re ready to apply, head over to our website and submit your application, we can’t wait to talk with you!
